FALLS BASEBALL
Code of Conduct for Parents

Your child making this team is a huge accomplishment and we as a Little League would like to represent
Falls Baseball, Levittown Continental Little League and Fairless Hills Athletic Association with the utmost
respect. At times these games will be nerve wracking and you may question decisions being made by
coaches. Players will make mistakes and we as coaching staff will promote positive reinforcement
regardless of the situation. Other teams may not honor this code of conduct, but we ask you to act like
mature adults towards, players, other teams, coaches and other parents.

As a PARENT of a player for Falls Baseball, I agree to:

-Respect the manager and coaches. The managers and coaches are volunteers who donate their
time to our organization and my appreciation of their help should be displayed in my actions. If
there is a concern, that should be discussed respectfully at a mutually agreeable time.

-Respect the umpires. It is the manager’s responsibility to question the umpire when he/she
seems there thinks there has been an unfair call. I will listen to the ruling and not harass or abuse
the umpire at any time.

-Respect our team and other players. I will not insult, criticize or verbally abuse any other player
on the team or the opposing team. Such behavior destroys team spirit and will not be tolerated by
Falls Baseball. Any negative or derogatory remarks or actions will not be tolerated and will have
repercussions.

-Respect equipment and facilities. I will respect and take care of the facility, the fields and the
dugouts.

-NO SMOKING – smoking is prohibited at LCLL and FHAA complexes. This includes vaping.

-I will never resort to physical threats or actions to rectify a situation. This is a game, a place for
our children to learn and have fun. I understand any physical outbursts, or any occurrence of
physical threats will be immediately directed to the executive board.

-The playing field is for COACHES AND PLAYERS ONLY. No parent is allowed on the field at any
time unless there is an injury.

-I will display good sportsmanship always. It’s not whether we win or lose, but it’s how we play the
game. I will remember my child is a part of a team. Every player on the team is different with
different strengths and weaknesses. I will remember we win as a team and we lose as a team.
 I will remember and respect the team that has made this all possible. The team of volunteers,
parents, coaches, managers and umpires that work every day to help make our experience at Falls
Baseball a memorable one.
