Hello Team,

Welcome to Girls U8 Fall 2014 Soccer! Myself, Stephanie Lanzillo, and Tina Chiasson will be your coaches this season!

Our first game will be on Saturday, September 6 at Murphy Field. Field number and Game time are still TBD. You will receive team shirts on this day!

Our practices will be held on Fridays at Murphy Field, they will begin at 6pm and last for one hour. The practice time may get earlier in the evening as the days get shorter later in the season.

Below you will find some important information:

*Please bring a size 3 soccer ball and a water to all practices. Just bring a water for games!

*Please dress appropriately for the weather -- hats, gloves, raincoats, and extra layers are allowed. Please make sure your team shirt is the outermost layer on game day!

*No Jewelry. Please take all jewelry off prior to games or practices. Also, make sure not to get your ears pierced just before or during the season!

*Players must wear shinguards, soccer socks, and cleats/sneakers to all practices and games. Please make sure that you have soccer cleats and not baseball cleats as baseball cleats are not allowed.

*Please do not drop your child off unless you have coordinated with myself or Tina previously -- parents are generally expected to stay at the field for both games and practices.

*Please be on time for practice and 15 minutes early for games. The first four players to arrive are the first four players to start the game.

This season we are playing in a GIRLS only league! This is a very exciting opportunity for our girls!

Our main priority this season is to continue to learn the fundamentals of the sport and to have lots of fun!
